Very Important Message For Snow Removal

Town Park Community Online You will be receiving a flyer in the mail from the city for the 2007-2008 SNOW Removal & Snow Alert Guide. This Guide is very important especially if you park on Bragstad Drive. (Zone 3) You will not be allowed to park on Bragstad day or night until all snow is removed. We have contacted the city to remedy the parking on Bragstad but they would not compromise.

So this is what we have come up with: We have spoken with Prairie States Trucking Inc. (the snow plow operators) and they have agreed to be on the property at 9:00 AM sharp and will be gone by 10:30/11:00 AM. Please have your vehicle moved by 8:45 AM. This is a set time that the plows will be here and your vehicles must be out of the parking lot. Parking on the street is at your own risk! If you are not sure if we are plowing you can call the emergency pager at 553-4508, office phone at 332-8532 & we will call you back. A good rule of thumb is 2 inches or more and we will plow. This also applies for weekends. If it snows on a Saturday or Sunday we will be here to plow.

If you do not have your vehicle moved we will try knocking and calling you one time. If no answer, your vehicle will be towed at your expense. If your vehicle will not start, it will be towed. Please do not wait until we knock or call. If we have to contact you every time it will result in receiving infractions and possibly towed.

If you are going to be out of town and feel comfortable leaving a set of keys in the office we would be more than happy to move your vehicle for you. This applies only if you are leaving town. It is very costly to get your vehicle back from the tow company and the last thing that we want to do is tow your vehicle so please make sure you are up and ready to move your vehicle.

Also, please remember NOT to park so that your bumper is over the sidewalk as the tire chains on the tractor are not nice to bumpers. Please do this 365 days a year and not just during winter months.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter
